Hire charges must be paid before the hire period begins.
Equipment is hired for private and personal use only, and not for commercial use.
It is the responsibility of the client to check all parts are present prior to hire, and that equipment is fit and appropriate for use.
Equipment is to be returned clean, complete and undamaged.
Return of dirty equipment will incur a cleaning fee.
Late return of equipment will incur a fee of 20% of hire cost on top of usual hire fee for each day equipment is late.
Loss or damage to the equipment is the responsibility of the client. Damaged or broken parts will be paid for at retail value.
Any equipment not returned within one week of due date will be considered lost and will incur the retail cost of replacement on top of hireage for extra week and 20% late return fee.
Lost equipment or parts may be rehired until found, up to a maximum of two weeks. If not returned at this time equipment will need to be paid for at retail value.
It is the responsibility of the client to notify The Toy Box within 24 hours should any equipment be lost or damaged.
Theft of an item will require a Police report to be submitted by the client to The Toy Box.
All items for hire remain the property of The Toy Box at all times.
The client is responsible for the selection of appropriate equipment and for checking the safety of the equipment hired.
The client takes responsibility for ensuring adequate supervision of persons using equipment and in no event will The Toy Box be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury related to the use of any equipment supplied
The Toy Box has the right to use a Debt Collection Agency to collect all outstanding costs as above, in addition to the cost of recovering monies owing.
These terms and conditions apply to all equipment hired by the client at any time.
